It has been 12 months since Australia shut its borders and went into strict lockdown, amidst the on-going worldwide Coronavirus pandemic. Since then, Macarthur Vet Group has continued to provide our clients and patients with our services and treatments to ensure your pets were thoroughly looked after during this difficult time. We had to make some changes to the way we conducted business in line with changing government regulations to ensure we were adhering to social distancing and keeping everyone as safe as possible. We thank everyone for helping us adapt to those changes during the past 12 months.
As you know, Australia is slowly returning to some sort of “normality”, and we thought we would give you all an update as to how we will begin to relax the restrictions we currently have in place. Please understand that restrictions may be reinstated at any time, dependent of government recommendations, but we are pleased to now offer the following:
- Clients now will no longer have to wait in their car and call our clinics upon arrival. You are welcome to come into reception (still using our QR code check-in). If the wait are is busy, we may have to ask you to wait outside on the chairs provided OR be asked to wait in a consult room.
- Two clients are now allowed in the consult rooms, but maintaining social distancing of 1.5m from the vet. If this is not possible, you may be required to wear a mask.
- Puppy Preschool classes are now allowing 2 people per puppy.
Thank you all once again for adapting to the changes we implemented over the last 12 months, and we appreciate your understanding. Thanks for allowing us to continue to look after your pets, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
Regards,
MVG Partners
