Do I have to make an appointment to see a vet?
Yes, consultations are by appointment so we can plan our day effectively and help minimise waiting times. You can book online at your convenience or contact one of our clinics to make an appointment.
If my pet needs to be hospitalised, can I visit?
Yes, visits can usually be arranged for hospitalised pets. Seeing each other can be reassuring for both you and your pet. Please call us before visiting so we can arrange a suitable time and have a team member available to update you on your pet’s progress.
How long is a consultation?
We allocate 20 minutes for a consultation, which allows enough time to address most concerns. More complex cases may require additional time, so if you think your pet may need a longer appointment, please let our team know when booking so we can allow appropriate time.
Can I ask to see a specific vet when I book my appointment?
Absolutely. If you have a preferred vet, simply let our team know when you book and we’ll do our best to arrange your appointment with them.
We understand how important it can be to see a vet who knows you and your pet. If your preferred vet isn’t available at a time that suits you, another member of our veterinary team will be happy to help.
Our vets work closely together and have access to your pet’s medical history, allowing us to provide continuity of care and collaborate on cases when needed.
Do you charge extra for consultations on weekends and Public Holidays?
A surcharge applies to consultations after 12:00pm on Saturdays, on Sundays, and on Public Holidays during our listed opening hours.
What should I do if my pet has an emergency after hours?
If your pet needs urgent veterinary care while our clinics are closed, please call us on 02 4627 1333. Our after-hours service will provide information for dedicated emergency veterinary hospitals, including VECA (Campbelltown), Animal Referral Hospital (Homebush), SASH (Prospect and Ryde), and Veterinary Specialists of Sydney (Miranda).
For emergency hospital details and further information about after-hours care, please visit our Emergencies page.
I have a question that isn’t covered here. How do I get in touch?
Our team is happy to help. Please contact one of our clinics during opening hours if you have any questions about our services or concerns about your pet’s health. You can also book an appointment online at any time.
