What are some of the things you love about the veterinary industry?
This industry is compassionate, caring, hardworking and emotional! I have an administrative role within this industry but I’m so lucky to get to observe the wonderful work that vets and nurses do every single day. I take my hat off to them, they work incredibly hard and all they care about is the health and welfare of animals. I’m so lucky that I get to combine my love and passion for animals with my work…. This is my absolute dream job! Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life!

Of the staff! I love coming to work every day because of the people I work with. We are all friends inside and outside of work and it feels like we are all part of an extended family. And I love seeing how much care and love is shown towards every single animal that comes through our doors.
Description of your pets / spouse / family
I am married, and my husband and I live in the local area with our 2 small children. We have a short-haired exotic named Petal who is one of the calmest and most gentle-natured cats I have ever met! My son has developed a pure love for animals from such a young age watching him cuddle Petal every morning is so precious. At the beginning of 2020 we adopted a gorgeous little dwarf lop rabbit named Rueben for the kids. They adore him! We’ve also got a fish tank with about 4 different types of goldfish. I can’t wait to see both my children grow up surrounded by the honest and pure love that animals give back to us.

I’m a Coffee, Nutella, Netflix and Disney + enthusiast!
