When did you start working at MVG?
I started placement in 2021 and was employed towards the end of 2022.
What are your qualifications and when did you achieve them?
I completed my Certificate II in Animal Studies in 2021 and am currently completing my Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
What are some of the things you love about the veterinary industry?
It sounds cliche but I love being able to give a voice to the voiceless, advocating for the little and big ones who can’t advocate for themselves.
I love being the person to comfort them when they’re not feeling well or when they’re waking up from anaesthetic, seeing and feeling them relax when they realise someone’s there for them is always the best feeling.
I also love watching patients grow up, learn new things every time I see them as well as seeing patients get better and grow stronger everyday.

The 4 different clinics allow for you to experience different ways of working even though we’re all apart of the same team. Learning how each clinic works and being able to better myself as a nurse by learning different techniques and strategies.
Description of your pets / spouse / family
I live with my partner and my best friend and her partner as well as their 3 year old mini dachshund Millie. I have 1 cat, Hazel who lives with my partners family now. I rescued her when she was a kitten, she’s a 2 year old Domestic medium hair.
One interesting fact about you that no one knows
My dream place to visit is Egypt!
