We recognise the importance of providing students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in a veterinary enviroment, learn more about the industry and explore a potential career working with animals.
High School Students Work Experience Program
We welcome Year 10 High School students for work experience at our clinics. These placements provide students with an opportunity to experience the day-to-day enviroment of a veterinary clinic and gain a better understanding of the different roles within the veterinary industry.
Work experience can help students decide whether a career in the veterinary industry may be right for them, while providing an opportunity to develop their confidence, communication skills and initiative.

Veterinary Nurses Work Experience Program
Macarthur Vet Group provides work placement opportunities for students completing their Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through TAFE NSW.
Practical work placement is an important part of veterinary nursing studies, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in a clinical environment while completing the workplace requirements of their qualification.

Veterinary Student Placement
Macarthur Vet Group provides clinical placement opportunities for current veterinary students as part of their university studies. These placements give students the opportunity to experience day-to-day veterinary practice, work alongside our veterinary team and further develop their clinical knowledge and skills in a supervised environment.
We recognise the importance of supporting and mentoring future veterinarians as they prepare to enter the profession. Over the years, our student placement program has also introduced us to veterinary students who have later gone on to become valued members of the Macarthur Vet Group team. University Veterinary Admission Experience
Macarthur Vet Group provides opportunities for prospective veterinary students to gain experience within the veterinary industry. These placements are designed for students who are preparing to apply for a veterinary degree and require relevant experience as part of their university admission requirements.
Participants have the opportunity to gain insight into the day-to-day environment of a veterinary clinic and develop a greater understanding of the veterinary profession before commencing their university studies.
