Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic Surgery
Our veterinary team performs a range of surgical procedures at our clinics, from desexing and soft tissue surgery through to orthopaedic procedures, including cruciate ligament surgery and fracture repairs.
Your pet’s procedure and care will be tailored to their individual needs, with our veterinary and nursing teams supporting them throughout their surgery and recovery.
Our Approach to Surgery
Your pet’s safety, comfort and wellbeing are our priorities throughout their surgical experience. Depending on your pet and their procedure, their care may include:
- A pre–anaesthetic examination to assess their health before surgery
- IV fluids where appropriate to support hydration and blood pressure during anaesthesia and recovery
- Anaesthetic medications selected according to your pet’s age, health and individual needs
- Dedicated veterinary nurses monitoring your pet throughout their anaesthetic and recovery
- Modern anaesthetic monitoring equipment to help us closely monitor your pet
- Pain relief before, during and after surgery, tailored to your pet and their procedure
- Pre-anaesthetic blood testing, providing additional information about your pet’s health before anaesthesia
