We offer a comprehensive range of veterinary services for dogs and cats, from preventative healthcare and routine procedures through to advanced medicine and surgery.
We also provide selected veterinary services for rabbits, including vaccinations, routine health care and desexing. More complex rabbit cases may require referral to an exotic animal veterinarian.

Preventative Health Care

Our approach to your pet’s care focuses on preventative healthcare, helping to support their health and wellbeing throughout every stage of life.
We provide a range of veterinary services, including vaccinations, heartworm prevention and testing, microchipping and surgical procedures, along with products to support your pet’s ongoing health and wellbeing.
- Annual health checks allow us to monitor your pet’s health and may allow early signs of illness or disease to be identified.
- Vaccinations help protect dogs, cats and rabbits against a range of serious and potentially life-threatening diseases.
- Heartworm prevention and testing helps protect dogs against heartworm disease, with preventative options including an annual heartworm injection.
- Flea, tick and worm prevention helps protect pets from common parasites. Our team can recommend an appropriate prevention plan based on your pet’s individual needs and lifestyle.
- Microchipping provides your pet with a permanent form of identification and can help reunite you if they become lost.
Medical and Surgical Services
Our veterinary team provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for a wide range of health conditions, from routine concerns through to more complex cases requiring further investigation, treatment and ongoing management.
Our clinics are equipped to support a broad range of diagnostic, medical and surgical needs, allowing our team to tailor care to each individual patient.
Emergency Services
Although we operate by appointment, veterinary emergencies are given priority. If your pet requires urgent veterinary care while our clinics are open, please contact your local Macarthur Vet Group clinic. If our clinics are closed, please call 02 4627 1333 for information about the emergency veterinary services available.
Surgical Services

We offer a full range of services from desexing and soft-tissue surgery through to cruciate ligament and complex fracture repairs.
Our experienced veterinary team performs a wide range of surgical procedures across our clinics, supported by modern surgical equipment, anaesthetic monitoring and dedicated nursing care. Pre-anaesthetic blood testing is recommended to help assess your pet’s health prior to anaesthesia.
Dentistry
Dental health is an important part of your pet’s overall wellbeing. Dental disease can cause bad breath, discomfort and pain, and may worsen if left untreated.
Our team can provide advice on preventative dental care and help you establish an appropriate home dental routine for your pet.
When professional dental treatment is required, our dental services include oral examinations, dental scaling and polishing, and tooth extractions when necessary. Dental procedures are performed under general anaesthesia using appropriate dental equipment and monitoring to support your pet’s safety and comfort throughout their procedure.
On-Site Diagnostics
Our clinics have access to a range of diagnostic equipment and testing to help our veterinarians investigate your pet’s health and make informed decisions about their care.
Depending on your pet’s individual needs, diagnostic services may include in-house blood testing, digital radiography (X-rays), ultrasound, ECG, blood pressure monitoring and other specialised tests. Where further investigation is required, additional testing or referral may be recommended.
Specialist Referrals
When your pet requires specialised care or further investigation, our veterinary team can arrange referral to an appropriate veterinary specialist.
We work closely with specialist and emergency hospitals across a range of disciplines, helping to ensure continuity of care and communication throughout your pet’s treatment.
Care of Native Birds and Wildlife
