Veterinarian
What is your role here?
Veterinarian
When did you start working at MVG?
2024 as a placement student and 2025 as a Veterinarian
What are your qualifications and when did you achieve them?
I achieved a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Sydney in 2024 (BVB/DVM). I also hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Visual Art from the Queensland University of Technology from 2014.
What are some of the things you love about the veterinary industry?
It’s a very fun profession where no two days are the same! There’s such a variety of things you get to do in a day as a GP – like new puppy & kitten visits, dental extractions & soft tissue surgeries, ultrasound, x-rays & bloodwork for sick or injured animals, or microscope cytology for new lumps, or ear and skin issues. While at anytime an emergency might walk through the door!
MVG is a great place to work because…
MVG has developed a nice culture of support and team work. You’re allowed to stick your hand up and try things while having someone around to advise and help when needed. A high standard of care is expected for our patients and we work with clients to find the best solution possible for that pet & family.
Description of your pets / spouse / family
My partner and I have a small scruffy pup called Minot who loves everyone and everything! I grew up with bigger working breed mixes and many cockatiels. I have a soft spot for stray/clinic kittens and have managed to get to know cats pretty well despite being surrounded by allergic people!
One interesting fact about you that no one knows!
I speak French oh la la
