What are some of the things you love about the veterinary industry?
I enjoy the hands-on aspect of working with animals and knowing that everything we do is centred around the best interests of the pet. I feel fortunate to do what I love alongside a supportive team. I also value educating owners on how they can improve their pets’ quality of life, as well as supporting them through the more difficult and sensitive aspects of our role. Being able to reassure owners that they are making the right decision when it is time to say goodbye is a particularly meaningful part of my work.

I live with my husband and two children. Together we have a children’s python named Dino.
