Today was Chisel’s final puppy vaccination. As usual, Chisel was a brave boy! This sweet little pup (who is not so little anymore!) is still not allowed to go out for another 2 weeks, but his owners are certainly looking forward to it! We advise this as it gives your pup the time to absorb the vaccination and to help build the immunity up further. The next vaccination will be in 11 months, but in between then he receives his second heartworm injection and that is around 3-6 months after his initial heartworm injection. After this, the annual injections for heartworm start at around 15 months and this is will coincide with his first annual health check and vaccination!
