What is your role here?
I am a Veterinary Nurse and also assist with the vaccination reminders for our clients. I work as a Vet Nurse across all 4 of our clinics
When did you start working at MVG?
I completed 18 months of work placement at Macarthur Vet Group, Gregory Hills whilst I was still studying and was then employed in March 2017.
What are your qualifications and when did you achieve them?
I have a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing and am a qualified Vet Nurse. I received my qualification in May 2017
What are some of the things you love about the veterinary industry?
Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up with dogs and horses started this journey and passion for the industry. I love coming to work each day knowing that I can make a difference in an animals life. Our job is very hands on and incredibly satisfying.

I love that every staff member is valued and made to be a part of the team. The staff at every clinic are all so friendly and welcoming and care so much about the patients they treat every day.
Description of your pets / spouse / family
My husband, Mark and I have a daughter Jazlyn and son Jonah who shares our love of animals and loves hearing about what Mummy did at work today! We have 2 dogs – a Dogue De Bordeaux named Max, a Groodle named Charli and a Ragdoll cat named Hershey. They all get along so well and love playing together 😊
One interesting fact about you that no one knows!
I am very interested in volunteering with animals overseas. I recently went on a trip, volunteering within a hospital treating elephants in Northern Thailand. I believe if we have the skills and knowledge to help animals and educate, we can do so much with that opportunity. Not only does it help animals in less fortunate circumstances, but it expands our own knowledge and experience to bring back to our own clinics 😊 And I love ducks! 😉
